Inventive and agile execution of a global event tour
Project
AI Tour 2023-2024
Sector
Technology
Microsoft asked Nteractive to support creatively and strategically the delivery of the first global in-person event series following the pandemic. The tour series covered 7 cities spanning 5 continents over 6 months targeting business decision makers. Due to high profile audience, technical production had to be of high quality. The key areas of expertise were technical, production, logistics and sponsorship.
What We Did
Challenge
01
With the initial site visit held 8 weeks prior to the first live event agile and collaborative planning was required. Mid-series there was a recognition of audience demand for more AI content requiring a pivot in strategy. This pivot presented branding and audience mix challenges to regional planning, audience messaging and perceived sponsorship value. Agendas also had to be updated across locations with the little to no impact to series consistency and budget.
Solution
02
The team worked alongside key stakeholders to revamp branding, marketing and sponsorship materials to reflect the new strategy. With an architected approach based on open and agile collaboration, our creative, technical, logistics and sponsorship teams quickly coordinated to develop tailored audience journeys for each location while simultaneously identifying revenue opportunities and efficiencies to mitigate budget impact.
Impact
03
Close collaboration between Microsoft and Nteractive teams resulted in a high-quality event across all locations. Our streamlined approach delivered high attendee and sponsorship engagement on budget.
